UAW Local 405 Rally for our Contract

Last week, UAW Local 405 members at Triumph voted 99% (148-1 with 86% turnout) to authorize a strike after their current union contract expires at midnight on October 31.

The members' demands include sectoral standard wages, job security, cost-of-living protection, affordable healthcare and no concessions, among other priority issues the company hasn't even attempted to meet the bargaining committee on. Meanwhile, in the past five years, Triumph made $687 million in profits and paid its CEO $31.7 million.

This Wednesday, October 28, starting at 11:30 AM, Local 405 members will be rallying at 1 Charter Oak Boulevard in West Hartford to show management our strength before the strike deadline. Fellow UAW members and supporters are invited to join!
